Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, established in 1936, is an international spiritual, social, educational, non-profit organisation committed to the spiritual growth and personal transformation of individuals associated to it from all walks of life.

It has grown into a worldwide organisation with over 10000 Spiritual Service Centres in 137 countries and the International Headquarters situated at Mount Abu, Rajasthan.

It is affiliated to the United Nations as an NGO in consultative status with ECOSOC and UNICEF and has received 7 United Nations Peace Messenger Awards.

Meditation is a powerful tool for discovering ourselves and our latent values and putting them into practice in day-to-day life situations, and the Institution has emerged as a global leader in promoting core human values by imparting education about Rajyoga Meditation across the world.

We are working towards restoring Human Values in society and collaborative progress among individuals through Self Realization, and Self Transformation brought about by Rajyoga Meditation.

The Institute is also specialised in offering various self- developmental programs and courses to enable individuals to deepen their understanding of universal spiritual principles and thus help them lead a stress-free and peaceful life. It offers a wide range of life skills through customised management programmes modules and learning resources delivered using a combination of effective interactive and technology led techniques, to people of all backgrounds. Ideology behind the retreat centre

Present administrative Head of Brahma Kumaris, Dadi Jankiji (aged 103 yrs) had a vision since over 10 years that Pune should have a symbolic remembrance of first Administrative head of Brahma Kumaris (Matheswari Jagadamba Saraswati viz Mamma). It is under her leadership and guidance that first milestone of Jagadamba Bhawan completed in January 2018.

Training Centre

Jagadamba Bhawan is a unique facility which provides higher education in the art of living, training in Raja Yoga Meditation and resources for lifelong learning. Training conducted at the retreat centre includes a host of behavioural aspects including Motivation for Enhanced Productivity, Conflict Resolution, Developing Positive Interpersonal Skills, Self-Development Leadership, Stress Management in Work Situations, etc.


The unique attraction of Jagadamba Bhawan is Amphitheatre – Hill slope at backside of this premises is converted into an Open Air Amphitheatre to host seminars for almost 3500 people. It will be covered with tall trees to keep the audience in shade.
